ADMUNDI is expanding its work in Kenya thanks to new institutional backing that will strengthen care for the children with severe disabilities living at the “Mercy Servant of the Poor” home in Machakos.
The home, led by Sister Mary, takes in children discharged from Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi who, because of their chronic illnesses and the fact that they have been abandoned, have nowhere to go. This new funding will improve the facilities, buy medical equipment and provide care for critical cases that need round-the-clock attention.
For ADMUNDI, this support confirms that public cooperation and civil society can work together to reach those who need it most. We will keep reporting on the project’s progress in this section.
