Some news cannot be measured in figures. Evans, one of the little ones cared for at the “Mercy Servant of the Poor” home in Machakos (Kenya), has taken his first steps. An enormous milestone for a boy who arrived at the home completely dependent on others.
Behind that small great achievement lie months of care, therapy and a great deal of love from Sister Mary and her team, along with the support of everyone who keeps this home going. Evans reminds us that every improvement to the facilities, every piece of medical equipment and every donation translates, sooner or later, into life.
