Project summary
The emergency caused by the DANA floods in the Valencia region mobilised the organisation through its local office there. Working with local organisations made it possible to channel direct help to those affected in towns such as Valencia, Catarroja, Guadassuar, La Alcúdia, Alfafar, Massanassa, Benetússer, Picanya and Paiporta. 100% of donations went straight to those affected: Admundi took no percentage, and the only deductions came from the fundraising platforms.
Areas of work
- Support for schools: the “Help Bitcoin, Unidos por Valencia” campaign raised more than €10,000 in satoshis and €44,680 in conventional donations, spent on school supplies, books and games. The support was coordinated from CEIP Camp de Túria primary school in Riba-roja and distributed according to each school’s needs.
- Adopt a School: an initiative with Startup Valencia and ATH21 that connected donors with specific schools.
- Delivery of supplies: furniture, computers, libraries and toys for the schools affected.
- Emotional support for families, students and teachers, with volunteers and professionals taking part.
- Christmas meal: on 24 December 2024 a Christmas meal was held at the Hotel Meliá Valencia for 30 affected families, bringing together 100 people, including 45 children aged 1 to 17, with a performance by the magician Mago Jandro, presents and transport provided by Cabify.

- €81,586 raised and passed on in full to those affected.
